No. Tangelo only sell used cars that meet the Tangelo Standard.
All cars will be serviced in line with its age and current mileage.
We want our customers to have a haggle free experience with us so we carefully set our prices so every customer gets a fair deal. The prices listed for each car are our best prices and are competitive within the market.
We are regularly reviewing the market and update the price of our cars based on current market values.
Yes. Our customers are welcome to book an appointment at our South West Customer Hub to test drive our Tangelo cars.
At Tangelo we offer a 14-day money back guarantee to all our customers for added peace of mind. To ensure that you know exactly what you’re buying we will share a video and / or photo of your vehicle, we even offer video appointments so you can ask any questions as you inspect your new car. Once your car has been delivered, if you’re not completely happy with it, just let us know within 14 days of your delivery date and we’ll give you a full refund.
Every car comes with 3 months free RAC warranty.
You can extend your RAC warranty to 12 months, 24 months or 36 months for an additional cost.
Paint and fabric protection only needs to be applied once and lasts for the lifetime of the car. This provides an added shield to your car from day to day dirt and messy spills without the need for wax, polish or top ups.
No, we are unable to transfer your warranty to another car.
Yes, if you wish to cancel your extended warranty please contact your Sales Consultant.
Finance and Payments
We offer two types of finance - Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) or Hire Purchase (HP). All of our finance options are subject to status.

No. Finance providers will take into account the age of the car when your proposed borrowing time ends. For a PCP agreement, the car will need to be no older than 10 years at the end of the agreement. For a HP agreement, the car will need to be no older than 12 years at the end of the agreement.
When you buy a Tangelo car through our website, you can apply for finance by following the steps. However if you would prefer to be talked through the finance process, the Tangelo team are available to guide you through the process.
Your finance offer will be valid for 14 days.
Simply sign the documents and provide ID. Our sales team will be there be able to guide you through the process.
You can pay using Visa and Mastercard via our website. We are unable to accept payments using American Express. If you wish to pay over the phone we can only accept a maximum payment of £500. We can also accept a BACs transfer.
We work with Black Horse, Santander and Mann Island.
If you wish to change the Direct Debit details of your finance agreement, please contact your lender directly.
If you choose to return your car, we will pay back the finance provider and your finance will be cleared. If you wish to discuss this further, please contact your Sales Consultant.
Our current APR rate is 9.9%. This is subject to change.
Part Exchange and Sell
We take into account the age, mileage, condition and service history of the car to ensure we are offering an accurate part exchange price.
To successfully part exchange your vehicle, we will need
Yes we will buy a car, even if it has outstanding finance. However, if the vehicle you are trading in is worth less than your finance settlement you will be required to pay the difference. Our team will be more than happy to discuss this with you and guide you through the process.
Provided the car or van matches the condition described when the part exchange was quoted, we won't change the price.
Delivery and Collection
Tangelo offer delivery to mainland UK. We do not deliver to Northern Ireland, the Scottish islands, Isle of Wight, the Isles of Scilly, the Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey and the other Channel Islands. We also reserve the right not to deliver to certain addresses due to vehicle access limitations.
Collection and delivery is free of charge.
No. In order to carry out ID checks, we need you to be there in person when we deliver your car.
You will be given a morning or afternoon delivery slot to let you know when our delivery driver aims to be with you. They will be in contact one hour before they are due to arrive to give you an idea of when your car will be with you. You will then be given a full handover and shown around your new Tangelo car on arrival. Times all depend on the travel conditions that day.
Should you need to change your delivery date last minute or if there is a problem when on route to your delivery we will look after the car and return it to our holding area should we need to.
Transparency is important to us, therefore we provide a video walk around of every car before we deliver to ensure you see any imperfections on the car. If you feel there is an imperfection on the car that wasn't highlighted to you, please contact your Sales Consultant.
The Tangelo sales office is open 7 days a week. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm, Saturday 9am - 5pm and Sunday 10am - 4pm.
