Pumpkin Picking in Devon

October marks falling leaves, wrapping up warm and spooky season! So what better time to get out with the family to pick pumpkins, just in time for Halloween. We have rounded up the best places to visit in Devon this month to enjoy the full pumpkin experience.

Jolly Pumpkin – Exeter, Devon

There’s something for everyone at Jolly Pumpkin – as well as their pumpkin patch, they have a maize maze to get lost in, vintage tractor and a bale mountain to climb! There are plenty of opportunities for photos around the site as well as the Jolly Café for all food and drink needs. Tickets are available to purchase online.

Pennywell Farm – Buckfastleigh, Devon

Pennywell Pumpkin Festival is in full swing with access to the pumpkin patch and pumpkin trail included in the price of your ticket this October. Tickets must be booked online as the capacity is limited and to ensure no one misses out.

Open every day 30^th September – 29^th October 2023.

Devon Pumpkin Picking –  Devon

With pumpkin patches in both Bickington and Paignton, Devon Pumpkin Picking is a great day out for the family. Photoshoots are also available for visitors to remember their family day out. Entry is free of charge and no pre-booking is required. Simply turn up on the day to pick your pumpkins.

Strawberry Fields – Lifton, Devon

Strawberry Fields annual Pumpkin Fest is now in its seventh year, with thousands of pumpkins of all shapes and sizes to choose from. They have entertainment on site, characters to get to know and lots of other spooky experiences to get involved with. Purchase your tickets online beforehand to ensure your day out runs smoothly.
