Most Instagrammable spots for car photos

As the seasoned car photographer among us will know, there is nothing more satisfying than getting a perfect shot of a car. Whether you're a photographer or the owner of a beautiful car, a decent photo can be priceless.

We spoke to the wider car-loving community to find out exactly where the most Instagrammable spots for car photos in the South West are, so we can gift you a handy guide to the best backdrops for your cars.

Haldon Forest

Haldon Forest is notorious for its breathtaking beauty, so it's no wonder many people voted for it as one of the most Instagrammable photo spots. The forest trees provide the perfect backdrop whatever the season, and there's something satisfying about the silence of nature.

Exmouth duckponds

Make sure to check the tide times before planning your shoot, as this location requires a low tide. Head to the boat ramp, drive or reverse to the bottom, and place your car on the beach to capture the beauty of the Devonshire coastline. If low tide matches up with sunrise or sunset, even better.

Re:Fuel Falken Tyre Mural Wall

Another popular location is the Falken Tyre Wall Mural at Re-Fuel, home of the South West's Cars and Coffee events. Haynes Motor Museum

Located in Sparkford, Yeovil, Hayne's Motor Museum is home to the UK's biggest exhibition of cars and motorbikes dating from 1900 to today. It's the perfect day out, and a great opportunity to grab some picturesque shots of your own car. This photo is courtesy of Matt Heywood.
