Easter Events In Devon and Cornwall
Devon and Cornwall offer plenty of family fun and seasonal activities for little ones to enjoy during the Easter Half Term, and we’re on hand to highlight the very best of all that’s out there! Including Jurassic-themed egg hunts, arty workshops, grottos and plenty more, here are some of the best Easter events happening in Devon and Cornwall!
Crealy Theme Park: Eggo-Saurus Dino Hunt
Based just down the road from our Customer Hub on the Sidmouth Road in Exeter, Crealy Theme Park and Resort is an award-winning family theme park that offers over 60 rides and attractions, as well as live entertainment, plenty of animals, and various cafes and restaurants. Suitable for all the family from toddlers to grandparents, Crealy has been voted the Best Day Out in Devon for eight years running, and we highly recommend dropping in this Easter!
Running until April 16th, their popular Eggo-Saurus Dino Hunt returns with a bang, offering a Jurassic adventure across the entire theme park. Use your prehistoric map to venture through huge bone structures, fossilised footprints and mysterious large eggs to uncover hidden Easter eggs and other seasonal prizes.
Newquay Zoo: Easter Crafts Workshops
Set on the North Coast of Cornwall, Newquay Zoo is no doubt one of the most popular tourist attractions in the South West. With over 13 acres of natural-themed exhibits full of animals from around the world to discover, the whole family can easily spend the full day ambling around this popular zoo.
As well as boasting over 120 different species to encounter through the Easter half term, Newquay Zoo are also offering a range of Easter Crafts Workshops until Friday 14th April, with conservation being the key focus. Hosted by local artist Freya Moses, the Easter Workshops will ask visitors to illustrate what conservation means to them, with each person’s message forming part of a larger display at the zoo.

Found in the heart of the South Hams in Devon, Woodlands is the biggest theme park in Devon and offers more than a day’s worth of fun and adventure for all the family! As well as boasting the biggest indoor play area in the South West, Woodlands also offers memorable water rapid rides and other theme park rides, a zoo full of friendly animals, a falconry center, a toddlers village and so much more.
And to celebrate Easter, Woodlands are hosting their very own Easter Bunny Grotto which runs until April 9th.
