Double Locks

No list of Exeter pubs would be complete without the Double Locks. An 18th-century inn with outdoor seating alongside the canal, it’s the perfect place to relax in the summer (and the winter, too, with their log fires indoors).

A traditional country pub, Double Locks is home to the biggest beer garden in Exeter. They’re passionate about British seasonal food and local brews, offering a delicious range of refreshments whether you’re popping in for a drink on your walk or taking the family for a pub lunch.
